Paulette Pettit-Austrich - Principal of Austrich & Associates

With more than 17 years’ experience working for the broadcast and print media, most notably as Director of Promotions & Public Affairs for WABC News Talk Radio in New York, Paulette Pettit-Austrich has managed countless PR, advertising and marketing campaigns.  After attending Towson University in Maryland as a Mass Communications major, a successful internship at Baltimore’s WBAL Radio led to a full-time broadcasting career.  After serving as Assistant Public Service Director for WBAL then as Promotions/Programming Assistant for WIYY-FM, she left to join ABC Radio Networks in New York City in 1985.   Returning to Baltimore in 1998 she managed PR and Media Relations for Jim Smith during his first successful run for Baltimore County Executive and later served as Vice President of Development and Marketing for The League for People with Disabilities, Inc.  Pettit-Austrich co-chaired the 9th Annual Women Entrepreneurs of Baltimore fundraiser as well as the Baltimore Marketing Association’s 36th Annual Awards Dinner.  She served as a board member of Baltimore City Healthy Start and the Fuel Fund of Maryland and is currently on the board of United Ministries/Earl’s Place.  Pettit-Austrich is a Principal of Austrich & Associates, specializing in marketing communications, public relations and event planning.  She and husband Jorge Austrich reside in the Arcadia community of Northeast Baltimore.
